Nexeus Fatale

Yesterday I released Episode 5 of the NF Mix, a podcast where I mix a selection of music together for the listeners audio enjoyment.  The aim of the podcast is to introduce new music while creating interesting mixes of them.  All of the music features independent and submitted music for use.  If you are a musician or artist and would like to submit music for an upcoming episode, contact me! Finally a second Episode of the NF Mix Podcast! This podcast is a mix of music that I have chosen and features independent artists and people who I like. This episode is a very special one and is a live hour recording from the No. 7 Presents A Night with Nexeus Fatale - In Support of Breast Cancer Care Event on December 12th, 2007 in conjunction with No. 7 Salon, Rivers Run Red and various Second Life musicians.

One of the coolest people I’ve met in Second Life has been Kirsty Hawkshaw, not because she’s a famous trance singer (think OPUS III - It’s a Fine day. You may also recognize her on recent tracks like DJ Tiesto - Just Be,) but also she’s heavily invested in Second Life and enjoys her time and world in the virtual world! She’s also just started her own podcast, discussing and sharing her music and her thoughts on . Right now episode 1 is up featuring the song “Orange” from the O T (On Ultimate Things) Album. Here’s an idea I have been working on for a while, it’s a mix of independent and submitted music, each mix is created by using two Denon DN-S1000’s and a Denon DN-X100 mixer. The only thing added by software is the introduction and outro, the rest is just me mixing (with mistakes!) This mix has been something I’ve been practicing of late, and was thinking of using it for the upcoming Masquerade at the Second Life Community Convention in Chicago, IL.
