Nexeus Fatale

I have some good news and bad news!  The bad news is that the NF Mix is no longer on nexeufatale.com! (OH NOES!) The good news is that it’s moving to it’s own domain (nfmix.com) This has been something I’ve been considering for a bit, but it wasn’t until after PodcampNYC 2.0 (more about that later), that really solidified my decision to move the podcast.  I’m going to move the other episodes later today.

Feel free to rejoice as a new episode has been made and released and is available for your consumption.  Episode 4 features my good friend and Second Life resident Kirsty Hawkshaw! (She’s kinda popular)!

First let me apologize to those who were unable to access the site, feed, during the past 24 hours, this past weekend rather than cleaning the car, going hiking, or checking out what’s in the garage, I did what many tech’s do during their weekend… and upgraded! A tech weekend warrior consists of updating databases, moving domain names around, and upgrading, upgrading, upgrading (all which went very well). I’ve been very quiet on a few things mainly because during this past weekend, I took several initiatives to do just that, upgrade, and to become much more efficient then I have been in the past. A few projects (including the Online DJ Wiki) have had to be placed on hold until several other major issues were laid to rest. One month from SLCC and those things have been done. With that said, I’ve promised a few people certain projects and would like to shed light on their roadmap, progress, etc if you will:

Here’s an idea I have been working on for a while, it’s a mix of independent and submitted music, each mix is created by using two Denon DN-S1000’s and a Denon DN-X100 mixer. The only thing added by software is the introduction and outro, the rest is just me mixing (with mistakes!) This mix has been something I’ve been practicing of late, and was thinking of using it for the upcoming Masquerade at the Second Life Community Convention in Chicago, IL.
