Nexeus Fatale

The response to the Intel Sunflower campaign caught me by surprise.  The level of response on the opening day reminds me of same level of response that the Relay For Life has. During the opening event, a two hour period, more than 400 sunflowers were planted (which means Intel will donate $400 to the Conservation International Foundation), and I’m told the final tally of day one was over 500!  Wow!  This is only day 1.  With a future event with Cylindrian Rutabaga on March 20th, and a closing event on April 13th, you can help but to wonder what makes this promotion such a compelling promotion and how can you get Second Life residents to continue to push participation (by the way, go to Intel Island and plant some sunflowers!  You can win a brand new computer!)

Thursday, January 17, 2008 @ 7 – 9pm PST/10pm – Midgnight EST: I’ll be over at Club Random on Virtual CSI:NY playing a varied mix of music, from rock to hip-hop, house to funk. Second Life Location

Friday, January 18, 2008 @ 5 – 7pm PST/8pm – 10pm EST: Another season of The Friday Night Parties at L Word Club continues while Episode 2 of Season 5 is discussed (what happened, who did what) with a mix of house and hip-hop tracks. Second Life Location

Christmas (and thus TheDiva Rockin’ in a festive holiday outfit) has come and pass. But the bad guys are up to no good at Virtual CSI:NY which means there are many detectives who have been working hard and need a party!

Well this Thursday, December 27, 2007 I’m going to do just that. It’s the event before 2008 come in (and a bunch of new virtual crooks perform more virtual crimes). The party begins at 7pm PST (for you East Coasters that 10pm) for the final party of 2008 (actually, this will be my final party of 2008 now that I think of it) at Club Random! Ho Ho Ho! The holiday season has come and will descend onto the detectives on Virtual CSI:NY! Tonight (at 7pm PST) continuing with the weekly Thursday dance party. The theme will be that of one huge office party… seriously! It’s time to have one last she-bang before the holidays kick off! The festivities happen over at Club Random on the CSI:NY area. It doesn’t matter if your naughty or nice, just that you have some fun!

This week I’ve closed my store on SL Exchange and have moved solely to OnRez. There are many factors in doing this; one of them is not my working relationship with the Electric Sheep Company. Since the launch of OnRez I have played with the solution for some time, while it does lack some features, it does provide an easier, flexible solution for selling products within and outside of Second Life.
